Morning “Me-Time” 🌞 I’ve been gifting myself one morning a week of “me-time” since the start of the summer. I don’t work, I don’t do chores, I don’t answer emails; I just walk. I walk and walk and walk, sometimes up to three hours of walking me-time. And I LOVE it! It’s been amazing for my mental health. I wish I could gift this time to myself more than 1x a week but for now, I’m savoring my morning alone time.

Stress happens when you feel you have to figure out everything all at once. Breath. Remember, you are strong. You will do it. Just live one day at a time.
I’m feeling so blessed today, I finally have my sh**t together, stress is gone I’m ready to conquer the world, one day at the time 🤗

✨BACK STRENGTH ✨
A lot of times in asana we are focusing on practicing ways to open, stretch and extend our back.
But what about strengthening it?
Building strength in our bodies doesn’t hinder our yoga asana it helps and supports it!
Strength based exercises help our bodies to become more stable, balanced and helps us as we get older! (Especially us women)

1. High lunge hinges (standing)
2. 2. V shape kickbacks (kneeling)
3. 3. Standing forward fold hinges (standing)
4. 4. Warrior 3 hinges (standing)
5. 5. 1/2 loctus arm lifts bent / straight (lying)
6. 6. Straight arm lifts and bend (lying)
7. 7. Overhead pull downs (kneeling)

🌱 Equipment - some of these exercises can include blocks , water bottles, light weights (all optional)
🌱Count - find what feels good for you
🌱Breath - inhale on ease exhale on effort
🌱Practice - as a circuit, just a few or weave them into your self practice / classes
🌱 Tips - keep knees soft in forward hinge, try to keep legs on mat with lying arm lifts, listen to your body snd HAVE FUN 🤩
