Lindsay Lovett aka @powerpoleontour says her path has never been a straight line, things have just lined up! As they have to get her to her current role at @power.pole . This girl is absolutely stunning from the inside out. Lindsay is a former athlete and sticks to an active schedule so when she fell in love with working events she knew this environment was for her. She credits networking for helping her obtain her current position but reminds herself you never know what the future will hold.
What you might not know about this stunner is she hiked the Appalachian Trail, all 1,200+ miles over 177 days and much more that we cover in this episode!

Keep it fun.
No matter how hard core you are. No matter how dedicated you are to improvement, it’s always important to have some fun.
I’m glad to have friends that are willing to put up with my shenanigans and am glad that in the middle of a run, we can do a stupid pose for a picture and then carry on like nothing happened.
Fun is an important concept because when you’re too serious, you end up filling yourself up with stress which doesn’t help you healthily work towards your goals. Sure it kinda deviates from your straight line, but it ensures we succeed because it accepts that we are human.
People need fun. We need fun. It’s part of who we are. We are meant to enjoy this world. We aren’t meant to slave away for our dreams or someone else’s dreams. We are meant to enjoy this life we are given and work towards a purpose.
I definitely enjoy my runs because it allows me the freedom and time to be outside. I’m glad I have the time to do so and continue to pursue my goals. At times, I get super serious about running, and lose focus on the joy it provides… and that’s why I believe it’s important to never forget the fun and joy that comes with training.
I am focused and driven, but I am always enjoying my time and having a lot of fun!
