So it’s been a few months now since I got my hands on these beauties from
@lafervanceskincare
I’ve already reviewed the Eclat Extraordinaire a couple of months back but thought the Gommage Extraordinaire deserved its own post.
Firstly, the packaging again is just stunning. The box could quite happily house expensive jewellery. The frosted glass pot is just beautiful.
I’ll be honest… I wasn’t sure what to make of this product initially. I’m not a huge fan of physical exfoliants and this uses macadamia seed powder, natural sand and organic sugar. It’s not that I’m totally against scrubs if they’re done well but generally l’m just not good at controlling the scrubbing action and I tend to overdo it. 🤦🏻♂️
Thankfully, as with another of my favourite masks, this works well without too much pressure. I apply it, leave it for around 20 minutes (sometimes longer) and then usually I rinse off with lots of water without really employing any physical exfoliation at all. Occasionally though I will give my face a good massage with the mask as I’m rinsing and let the exfoliants do their magic. And it does feel good.
My skin really does look brighter after this and of course it feels smoother but this just feels like such a treat to reboot my skin every once in awhile.
Finish off with a layer of the gorgeous silky Eclat Extraordinaire and your at home spa treatment is done. Beautiful. 👌🏻
