my first-ever @riverbankrungr race, the biggest race in Michigan, is officially complete☑️🤸🏼♀️🥳🙃
i am so proud of myself for completing this 10K race. i am NOT a runner, whatsoever, nor did i even train for this race (i think the last time i ran was 4 miles in July.🤣). BUT this put my training to the test. i am so happy that i did something out of my comfort zone and pushed myself to do a different type of training today.
i ended up placing 72 out of all 490 females and 458 out of all 1200 runners, male and female.🤪🤸🏼♀️ my average pace was 9 min & 6 sec so i am pretty stoked — even tho my first 4 miles were at a pace of 8 min & 25 sec…. i kinda died at the end. 🤣
nevertheless, i cannot believe i just ran that far. i lift weights and do flips, not run. so this is a huge accomplishment for me. now, training for a Spartan race beings!!!!!!! happy Saturday y’all!
Reminder Perimenopausal girls . As Brene Brown quoted “It take courage to rest & play in a culture where exhaustion is seen as a status symbol” take some time out to rest this weekend Xxx. Thank for for your talented art 🎨 @hannah_neese
