Adelaide Hills Gamay from Brackenwood tonight, tasty stuff this. Honest, fresh, crunchy, good drinking, has a bit about it.
Nose – Fresh red berries, red cherry, red currant, raspberry, hay, almost barn yard, countryside air in autumn.
Palate – Crisp, light, good acid, fresh red berries again, rhubarb adding savoury contrast, a pinch of dried woody herbs, and super fine tannin. Finishes well, good length.
There’s a charm and personality here to accompany the brilliant drinkability. ‘Tis rather enjoyable 👌🏽🍷👏🏼

French Chef Ludo Lefebvre’s Parisian style bistro in Hollywood offers up delicious french favorites like steak tartare and french onions soup, along with this bad-ass burger! Perfectly seared prime beef patties (which are grounded daily) kissed with funky craft american cheese, garlicky thousand island and finished with that foie gras bordelaise sauce is what dreams are made of! Throw in some of those house-cut french fries like I did here, and this beast of a burger becomes unstoppable! It’s fitting that the restaurant is located in Hollywood because this beauty is a STAR!
