Super happy with how this composite turned out.
And as always they are so fun to make.

The Milford opportunities project has put forward a plan to the NZ Government that includes a recommendation to have the airport removed from Milford Sound.
Milford Sound Airport is a vitally important piece of infrastructure, linked to the rich history of Milford Sound tourism. First constructed as a grass airstrip in 1952 for Popeye Lucas of Southern Scenic Air Services and subsequently lengthened and sealed, it allows tens of thousands of visitors a year to experience the best scenery and nature New Zealand has to offer. The Milford opportunities project has put forward a plan to the NZ Government that includes a recommendation to have the airport removed from Milford Sound and turned into a footpath. Save Milford Airport has formed to ensure that this plan is strongly opposed. Glenorchy Air is in full support of Save Milford Airport. We see it as vital for both our business and New Zealand’s Tourism industry that it is retained.

Always look on the flight side of life 🏔⛰🏔✈
📍Lake Erskine, Milford Sound 🇳🇿
Even without international tourists you can still expect traffic delays on the Milford Road.
Yesterday our friends at @cheekykiwitravel got stopped by this mob of sheep on the way to Milford Sound. Always plan for a bit of extra time to avoid missing your cruise.
From Queenstown we recommend you plan 4hrs for the drive and 1hr for stops along the way. From Te Anau it only takes 2hrs to drive to Milford Sound, but still add that extra hour for photo stops along the way.
You can download our drive map for extra tips and information from the link below:
