Curry Laksa🤤 or curry mee (咖喱叻沙, Gālí lè shā)
is a common breakfast item in Malaysia. Right after I have my chee cheong fun (rice noodle), I'll to-go this meal for 2nd breakfast🙈 or lunch. I always asked for extra mung bean sprouts and tofu puffs. Wontons are add-ons but even without them, you'll be satisfied with a spicy bowl of noodle soup. Bihun or rice vermicelli is my number 1 favorite in this dish because they generously absorb all the curry.😄
This is another great recipe when you've made my homemade sambal from nasi lemak bungkus.👌🏼

- I used homemade sambal (cooked chile paste) similar to my vegan sambal or the sambal I used in the nasi lemak bungkus
- The toppings are flexible and some common ones are: blanched long beans or sometimes stir-fried, tofu puffs, mung bean sprouts or yuchoy
- I love adding curry and pandan leaves in the soup while boiling for extra flavor and fragrance.
- A squeeze of lime juice into the curry is highly recommended before serving
I hope you give this tasty meal a try!
