There’s no such thing as visiting too many temples in Thailand.

If we look at all beings through the eyes of kindness and compassion we will never be wrong. And just like any skill, it can be trained to become natural.
It might feel contrived and even absurd at first, but through repetition and a genuine curiosity to understand others and ourselves it can be discovered that the same feeling of loving kindness and compassion we feel for friends and family can be extended to everyone, regardless of their beliefs or actions.
Whether something is right or wrong is an entirely different discussion. The question is: Do I have the courage and the wisdom to commit to practicing the art of taking absolutely nothing personally and to make a radically honest attempt to understand myself and others? How do I want to feel when I take my last breath?
When we truly touch this feeling of loving kindness and compassion the whole fascial system that interconnects our entire body responds. It's like a tremendous weight is lifted as all tension releases, and the word freedom becomes embodied. It's in this space that healing begins.
Ideas of "The Enemy", "Us vs Them", "Our Beliefs vs Their Beliefs" become a distant memory and we're left with a profound, visceral feeling of inclusivity, knowing that everything and everyone is in some sense family. To help alleviate the suffering of others seems like not only a good choice, but the only choice.
Every moment is an opportunity to practice this way of being with ourselves and others; to see everything with fresh eyes knowing that at the core it's all an expression of Love, no matter how distorted or selfish things appear on the surface.
I love you all❤️ Thankyou for taking the time to read.
