Happy Monday Friends! Our goal is to have the bathroom 100% completed by the end of the week 😬🤞🏼💪🏼. We have all of the appliances in and just about everything else we need to have Lucille completed and ready for her new owners to love and adventure in by the end of Oct.
The color has been chosen for the outside and it is so pretty! Can’t wait to show you! 😉.
Although we like to keep things light and bright around here, we can’t help but take a moment to say our hearts ache for Gabby and her family right now. We are heartbroken, angry and so sad. We have to say though, the way this community banded together and helped officials with information they had was remarkable! All of the people who helped out, prayed, shared and spread awareness made a huge impact even though the outcome was far from what we were hoping for 😔.
In a world that’s trying to divide us, I hope we can all remember that with this traumatic event, it didn’t matter which political party anyone was, their skin color, their medical status, etc. We all cared for Gabby and fought to find her. We United! Let’s not forget to love one another, respect one another and to fight for one another.
Hate has caused a lot of problems in this world but love is the most durable power. May you have the courage to choose love over hate friends.
Have a beautiful day!
There was a really crazy storm this afternoon with high winds, while I was cooking dinner. The carbon monoxide detector went off from the propane, and we had to try and air out the camper during a sand storm with wind gusts up to 55mph. It was pretty crazy. But as soon as the storm blew over there was a gorgeous double rainbow over our camper. It’s kind of like life, you know… the beauty after the storm. The rainbow cast a gorgeous glow, and it definitely rivaled the rainbows in Hawaii (which are some of the best I’ve ever seen).
This was such a physical representation for me, of the storms of life and the beauty that comes after. When a storm blows away, the rainbow is even more appreciated.
