Everyone is encouraged to participate. Whether you have autism, love someone who does, or are looking to support a diverse, accepting and kind community. Blue is the primary colour to promote autism awareness, and is associated with a calm feeling and acceptance in an otherwise loud and busy world for people on the spectrum. Most closely tied to the concept of the autism spectrum, a range of colors on the rainbow has often been used to visually represent the range of autism symptoms and individuals with autism’s abilities and challenges. So I wanted to make a blue and colourful drink to show my support. I found this fun recipe and it tastes fab too. Blue Ricardo 1 1/2 parts Rum 3/4 part Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice 1/2 part Coconut Syrup 1/2 part Passionfruit Syrup 1/2 part Pineapple Juice Shake with ice. Strain into a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Pour over 1/4 Part Blue Curaçao and watch all the pretty colour magic. Top with crushed ice, pop in a straw and enjoy. Here I am, jamming out to the new Kendrick Lamar album, sipping a delicious drink, kicking my feet up, and finally relaxing. It was chaotic enough of a day, and I need nothing more than to not give an eff for a fleeting moment. So, I finagled a bit with a great recipe from @punch_drink and found a highball that's going to stay on favs list indefinitely. Shake it up, throw it down, rinse and repeat. Lavender Super Sonic (modified) 2 oz gin (@waterloogin ) 0.5 oz lavender infused tonic syrup (@liberandco ) 0.25 oz pamplemousse liqueur (@giffardusa ) 0.25 oz lime juice Topo Chico (@topochicousa ) Combine all ingredients (except Topo Chico) in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until well chilled. Double strain into a beautiful crystal collins glass (@richardbrendonstudio ) with a clear ice spear (@wintersmiths ). Top with Topo Chico, stir gently to combine, and garnish with snapdragons.
