#Dota2 player says he was dropped because his mother was on her deathbed and the team was concerned how it would affect his performance🧐‼️Swipe➡️to see his tweets‼️
Michael Ross, AKA Ninjaboogie, yesterday took to twitter to share his thoughts on being released from the Team SMG starting roster for Dota2. He explained that his mother, who was in the midst of a long fight with cancer, suffered a sudden stroke and wished to delay his flight to meet up with the team. He was supposed to fly out Saturday the 14th and requested to stay through the weekend until Monday the 16th.
The team was convening for a boot camp that started on the 20th.
Michael and his family accepted this was likely the end for his mother as she signed a Do-Not-Resuscitate order following the stroke. Meaning she would either recover on her own or pass away. This order requests doctors not to intervene if the patient starts to crash.
The day Ross was originally supposed to fly out, one of his teammates called to ask his decision which he gave the next day. On the 15th, Ross received a call that he was being released from the team and the team would be moving on from him.
Ross’ mother sadly passed away last monday. Michael, you and your family have our deepest condolences 🕊
