All Saints', Cambridge, in the care of the @churchesconservationtrust and standing proudly opposite the gates of Jesus College.
Completed in the 1860’s by the architect G.F. Bodley, the tower and spire are said to have been inspired by the medieval St Oswald’s church in Derbyshire; a place I know so well.
A triumph of Victorian architecture and design, the interior features works by a celebrated cast of artists: William Morris, Edward Burne-Jones, Ford Madox Brown, Charles Eamer Kempe and more.
I’m afraid those works will have to wait for me as the church was closed on a visit earlier in the spring. Nevertheless, I’m often drawn back to Cambridge and was pleased to record this noble feature of the city’s famous skyline.

We’ve had such a whirlwind trip these couple weeks. Lots of packing and unpacking and currently our AirBNB technically has no key so every time we leave we’re locked out (I can’t even) suffice to say I am having fun but very tired.
But today was perfect medicine. I got to meet @lizharrydesign and @nutmegandarlo IRL for the first time and we had such a nice day just walking around and chatting and having snacks.
I get so nervous meeting people. What if I’m boring or we have nothing to talk about? Definitely not the case. There were many amusing chats about US vs UK and we had so much fun together.
Probably one of the best days I’ve had while away 💕💕💕
