Comment a 👏 if you can relate!
A lot of people have reported their anxiety being worse at night when they feel more alone with their thoughts and worries.
And without proper sleep, your morning is sure to suffer as well - making this quite the cycle. When you feel yourself falling into this struggle, its important to try and find a routine that helps you best.
Tiring yourself out during the day with some exercise, pinpointing the root of your anxiety and working on that, stopping yourself from scrolling or watching shows all night, even dimming your light earlier to set the mood to sleep.
If anxiety at night is affecting your day despite trying methods like this, then its time to get some help so that you can be at your best. You need rest!

We know that Depression is linked to Inflammation💥
We also know that Inflammation is linked to Histamine💥
So this research makes sense -- and confirms what I've found, too.
Histamine is a neuro-immuno-endocrine system mediator and involved in a multitude of different systems throughout the body.
🧩But this research is another piece of the puzzle in finding effective treatments for depression...... which seems to be another pandemic 😔
🤓⬇️FOR FELLOW NERDS🤗
HISTAMINE BLOCKS SEROTONIN
"...histamine in the brain was triggered by the inflammatory response and directly inhibited the release of serotonin, by attaching to inhibitory receptors on the serotonin neurons."
"...appears to confirm the theory that histamine directly dampens serotonin release..."
"Our work shines a spotlight on histamine as a potential key player in depression."

INVOLVEMENT IN RESISTANT DEPRESSION
Also shows how the histaminergic system is implicated in treatment-resistant depression, especially SSRI's
👉🏼Do you know someone struggling with depression?
