Managed to cram a game of Creature Comforts in! Aww it’s so cute! Have you played? . We really enjoyed it. There’s a dollop of luck involved especially in the early rounds, but buying the right improvement can give you mitigation power soon enough. . Another session with Great Wall, this time with Ancient Beasts expansion added. The more we play it the more flaws in design we can see but in general we really like playing it. There are not many games with properly balanced semi coop, and this aspect is quite well designed here. Best game of AR in a long time? For us yes.

🇬🇧 (w komentarzu 🇵🇱) „Viticulture World” from @jameystegmaier is a brand new expansion for „Viticulture”. It can be played by 1-6 players. 🍇 The biggest change is the cooperative mode. Now all the players won’t compete but will have to work together because there are only 6 years and each player needs to score 25 victory points to win the game. There is also a new influence track and to win the game it must reach 10 points. 6 years is not much and you have to optimize all the actions really well 😅 🍇 You get a new board, a little similar to the one from the base game. There are only two seasons now, but you will be able to upgrade action spaces during the game (more on that later) and your meeples are now seasonal workers which means that some of them can only work in summer, and some in winter (they have cute rubber hats). You will have to train them and only then they can work any season. 🍇 Each round there are a few innovation tiles (rectangular and round) that you can buy to upgrade action spaces. Rectangular tiles will give you different bonuses like getting more cards, paying less money for things etc. If you add round tile, the action space will be available for unlimited number of workers (grande or trained), not only for one. 🍇 Last new thing are continent decks. Every time you play the game, you have to choose one of the 7 available continents. You have a deck of cards that contains some facts about winemaking, regions. There are some special events, actions on the cards. Every continent adds some unique things and modifies the game. This is such a cool idea. I can imagine that Stonemaier will release additional continents in the future. 🍇 There is also a new solo mode where you have a co-player called Burattino. Sometimes he’s annoying because it blocks action spots on the board but Burattino has got money and cards (you can exchange with him), he can buy innovation tiles and rise influence track 😀 🍇 I’m a huge fan of „Viticulture” and I really like this expansion. It doesn’t make the game more complex but it changes and adds enough things to make it fresh and fun again!

Having recently watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, I decided to do an all-Mystics game of Marvel Champions. And so it was that Doctor Strange and The Scarlet Witch faced Ebony Maw. These are two very strong heroes, so it was an easy win. Had I waited a bit more, perhaps all of those Ebony Maw spells would have hurt 😅 I love soloing this game, but as you can see in the pic, it takes quite a bit of table space!
