Still got a lingering cough and some congestion from my cold but feeling better. Guess it’s time to check up on IG again and post even though I enjoyed my little break. I do feel a lot lazier after a week off though 😂
Day 6 of #alotofcrow with the awesome @bowlingandyoga@jadebellyyoga@jbreton22@gwtrucks is #sidecrow which is perhaps my favorite crow. I felt more comfortable in sidecrow than regular crow starting out, anyone else? Popping up in a one arm balance for today. Also is it just me or are there too many filters now? Why? And while I’m on an IG tangent, what is the deal with Threads? First IG decided it wanted to be TikTok with Reels and now to wants to be Twitter (or X) with Threads? I joined for a minute and hated all 60 seconds of it. There’s a reason I joined IG and not TikTok and not Threads. I mean is anyone actually enjoying Threads, I’m curious? I miss the old IG. I don’t mean to sound like I hate change, but my feed and explore page are just all over the place now, it’s wild.

Been awhile since I posted for #funkyheadstandfriday and couldn’t resist this fun shape inspired by the amazing @semi.svetik inspired by @mountain_mama_yoga . Posted a video in case you’re wondering how to enter/exit. It’s not a very intuitive one, takes a little figuring out. Happy Friday!

Phew 6 years of daily handstands under my belt without missing a day 😮💨 And here we are at it again for another year. As I mentioned in my last post, I’m sick with a cold I think. Breathing is hard especially upside down. Really want to feel better soon. This one ran out of steam at the end but just glad I got it to 70 seconds.

Day 3 of #alotofcrow with the awesome @bowlingandyoga@jadebellyyoga@jbreton22@gwtrucks is #babycrow and I took mine from a press to pincha lower to a cross arm and foot baby crow. Ugh so far this year is not off to a good start. Yesterday I came down with a really sore throat which I still have so now I’m officially sick 😷 Just hoping it goes away soon 🙏I’m not good with too much downtime but at the same time I feel like I need more rest right now. I just don’t like it.

Joining days 1-2 of #alotofcrow with the awesome @bowlingandyoga@jadebellyyoga@jbreton22@gwtrucks with a #crowpose and cross leg crow which I took to an #eaglecrow . Don’t think I’ve ever lowered from handstand into an eagle leg crow before, not that I went directly into it as I wanted to try out some other cross leg variations too. Hope everyone’s year is off to a good start. Mine is but I’m pretty tired, haven’t gotten a lot of sleep lately. And it’s definitely difficult trying to get back to a normal schedule including normal workout schedule but I’m looking forward to it.

Whipping into a lotus real fast and then lower to rooster. Also pressing up from crow and lowering through lotus to rooster. Which entry do you prefer, jump or press? I could never choose just one entry. I think you should practice them all 🤸♀️
