~Rice Noodles in Hakka Noodles style~

Hakka noodles is a popular Indo-Chinese dish of stir fried noodles with veggies, soy and chilli sauce. This is famous street food from India eaten as its own or goes well with gobhi Manchurian or chilli paneer. I decided to try the rice noodles sent by
@lotusfoods to make Hakka style noodles and it came out so so good.

Rice noodles are thin and it just melt in mouth. This is super easy recipe, the main work here is chopping veggies in julienne. Once chopping is done it takes few minutes to make it.
Ingredients
1/2 cup sliced white onion
Red and green bell pepper 1 each
One carrot
1 cup cabbage
Rice Noodles 1 1/2 packet

Boiling water for noodles
Salt to taste
Sesame or regular oil 1 tbsp
Garlic and ginger chopped 2tbsp
Spring onions (green) chopped 1/4 cup
Black pepper
Soya sauce 1 tbsp or more if needed
Vinegar 1 tsp
Chilli sauce 1 tbsp or to taste
Chopped cilantro for garnish
Full Recipe-
Boil rice noodles as per package instructions.
Heat wok/pan, add sesame oil, chopped garlic and ginger, let it cook till raw flavor is gone.
Add sliced onions and julienne veggies carrots, cabbage, and colored bell peppers.
Add pinch of sugar and stir well.
Let it cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes until a nice aroma comes out.
Don’t overcook veggies, it should be crunchy.
Now add boiled noodles, salt to taste, vinegar, chilli sauce and soy sauce.
Toss everything together gently and garnish with green onions, crushed black peppers, sesame seeds, boiled egg, and fresh chopped cilantro.
And your rice Hakka noodles are ready in no time.
If you prefer you can add cooked meat for additional protein.
