Weekend Focaccia:
Crisped Parma Ham, poached egg & cream cheese for me,
Mortadella, Mozzarella, Basil, Olive oil, for Lili.
I love making focaccia from the
@_lacebakes_ bakes recipe (check out her insta for recipe) it’s so easy to make, the hardest part is choosing what toppings to fill a sandwich from it with!
Lili went for her classic Mortadella combo, I went for some slices of Parma Ham and just crisped them up quickly in a frying pan, applied to focaccia, and added two glorious, poached
@steweeggs on top, with a light spread of cream cheese on the base! Such a delicious sandwich. I know it’s wrong to crisp up Parma Ham, but it somehow makes it even more salty and flavoursome which was exactly the hit I was after, the cream cheese was just a thin spread to stop it from feeling a bit dry!
The Focaccia was baked in my home oven in my trusty
