Pure Love and Connection with those beauties.Turning fear into excitement & fascination is one of my favorite things to do. Sharks are playing such a key role in maintaining the balance of the reef ecosystems. I wish people could understand them better. Shooting for short film « Coexistence » available on @coralgardeners YouTube. After 5 years talking on Instagram and planning this, it finally happened. We spent such a beautiful & genuine moment with our ambassador Jason Momoa and his family. Polynesian are Ocean people and should definitely lead the way to protect, restore and save our oceans and incite the World to join. A lot more to come. Adopt your coral on our website - Let’s keep going 🧜‍♂️⚡️🪸🐠 @prideofgypsies @coralgardeners @raimanaworld Shots @ryan_borne #coralgardeners #jasonmomoa #wethereef #savethereef

Coral Gardeners just released our newest Impact Report, full of coral restoration, data-driven science, crazy new tech and awareness, which happened all around the world in 2023, from French Polynesia to Fiji. I am so proud of my team and grateful for our amazing network of partners and supporters who enable us to create this impact, both in and out of the water. Make sure to give the report a read to learn more about our mission and how we work together to restore our ocean. A couple months ago I received a call from the National Geographic team asking me if I wanted to explore Raja Ampat and work on a special project. Since my childhood I always dreamed about visiting this place.. To see such pristine reefs in this biodiverse hotspot within the coral triangle reminded me what reefs could look like if we continue to work together to restore them. Thank you @natgeo @prada for this opportunity. Stay tuned for more in Indonesia. #NationalGeographic #Prada #RajaAmpat #Indonesia #CoralTriangle #Biodiversity #NationalGeographicExplorer

Billabong x Coral Gardeners After almost 3 years working on it, this global partnership and collection is out. A childhood dream coming true as we grew up watching surf legends like Andy Irons surfing for Billabong. We hope to be able to raise more awareness among the surfing community and raise funds to continue our important mission. More to come. This year 2023 we made another dream come true. We opened Coral Gardeners 1st International Branch in Fiji 🇫🇯 We hired a team of amazing local people, built a fully operational HQ and put the first Fijian corals in nurseries. This is just the beginning of a global movement and vision to save the world’s reefs. I like this place. It’s like a labyrinth. It’s another world — one above, one below. So much to explore. Walls of limestone created by the coral reefs, and perfect lace to play hide and seek with waves and fish. The playground. In the beginning that’s how I saw reefs. I saw my playground dying, so naturally I wanted to protect the places I liked to play. @coralgardeners #coralreefs #tahiti #exploring #natgeoexplorer

Just came back from a quick expedition with @cnn in the remote atolls of the Tuamotu Archipelago. CNN is making a 30 min TV documentary (launching December 27th) about the work that we have been doing in remote islands for the last couple of years with the local communities which became family to us. It’s incredible to be in a position of scaling up our impact in other islands and around the world. Today, it is not just about exploring, it is about learning, protecting and restoring those precious places and helping people. @coralgardeners @rolex @natgeo Photos by team members @ryan_borne and @killiandom #exploration #perpetualplanet #tuamotu #coralreefs #coralgardening

Coral Gardening, I will always remember the first time I experienced fragmenting and growing corals. You are alone in the lagoon, fish all around your hands, checking if you do your job well and waiting for their new home to be out-planted. I felt like this tangible & satisfying action of planting a coral, was the missing piece of the puzzle to create a Global Movement to save the reefs. Who wants to try gardening corals? #coralgardening #savethereef #wethereef @coralgardeners Pictures by my friend @silkymerman and our talented CG creatives.
