– Come Ride With Me
Yesterday was an incredible day! There were a handful of meetings, dozens of emails regarding our upcoming work to power 50 more homes and showing my new film “Savoring Joy”.
It was an honor to share the film because that’s the ultimate result in creating important stories of what makes us who we are, whether they be the accomplishments or the opposite, adversity.
Savoring Joy is a small film about the big journey home. The intersections of culture, physical strength, planning and remembering what really matters are morsels of life that are often overlooked.
A mix of wild horses, various paths in life, accidents, rivers, friendships plus the dirt and paved routes magnify our presence.
What you experience on a bike seems to reveal much about yourself. I’ve ridden the 450 mile route a couple times, cruised around Norway with Burkard and in the snow covered mountains of Utah.
Much can be experienced on a bike and in May, we’re opening up the bike ride to anyone who’d like to join along as we use cycling to raise donations to power more homes of students without electricity.
You can join us for 2, 10 or every single mile from May 6-11. The route takes us through some of the most beautiful parts of mountains, valleys and desert between Utah and Arizona.
More details will be released in the coming days and for now, I am so grateful for all who took part in making the film!
The DM’s continue to come my way from last nights first ever U.S. screening! Hope you can ride with me in May. What’s amazing is having a handful of folks who are already committed!!
