Embarking On A Journey Of Spiritual Growth Can Be Tough But This Year, It Is One Of My Personal Goals To Strengthen My Bond And Relationship With Jehovah 📖✨🌟 One Way I Plan On Doing This Is To Study His Word The Bible Daily And Apply Biblical Teachings In My Daily Life. I Also Want To Actively Seek Opportunities To Live Out The Values And Lessons Found In The scriptures. ✌🙏

Story, Story, Story. - Please Read Caption 🙏 Human Resource, Particularly People Management, Has Always Been Fascinating To Me Because It Was The Role My Father Occupied As The Director of ‘PERSONNEL’ At Lagos State Development & Property Corporation (@LsdpcOfficial ) And I Wanted To Follow In His Shoes. (Side Note: I Work There Now, In The Managing Director/CEO’s Office As A Senior Administrative & Human Resource Officer) - Back To Story. So, I Used To Follow My Dad And My Mom To Their Offices A Lot When I Was Younger (I Was Nicknamed Their ‘Hand Bag’ Or ‘Walking Stick’ 😂). It Was There That I Picked An Interest In HR Because Back Then, They Used To Be Feared And Overtly Respected And I Wanted That. However, Human Resource Has Evolved Past That Era Of Slave Master Relationship Which I Wanted In My Naive Childhood. You See, Then, Employees Were Seen As Tools Rather Than Partners And Assets That Should Be Invested In. Anyhoo, I’m Sure You Can Imagine My Excitement Being Amongst Fellow Human Resource Professionals At This 55th International Conference & Exhibition of The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Tagged Sustainable HR, Business And National Tagged development. The Conference And Exhibition Boasted Of About 5,000 Delegates With Several Plenary And Technical Sessions Hosted By Industry Thought Leaders And Policy Makers. The Most Memorable Session For Me Was That Of Peter Cheese, CEO of The Charted Institute Of Personnel And Development Where He Talked About HR's Role In Enabling Ethical, Environmental And Sustainable Practices In The Business Ecosystem. (Another Side Note: #LASG New Head of Service, The Dapper And Ever Stunning Olabode Agoro @LagosHeadOfService Was Also Present, In Person. He Didn’t Send A Representative, To Me That Just Shows The Level Of Importance He As A Person Attaches To The Overall Well-Being Of The State’s Civil Servants). Sadly, The Conference Ends Today But I Leave Here With This Thought From Peter Cheese And Pass It On To All Human Resource Professionals Who Might Get To See This: ‘We Are In Tough Times But We Can Still Make A Difference In People’s Lives, The World Of Work And The Future’. #CIPMICE2023

🗣: PLEASE READ CAPTION👇 Attended Our Three Day Regional Convention Themed ‘Exercise Patience’ And These Were Some Of The Special Moments I Captured. It Was Our First In-Person Convention In Three (3) Years And It Was Spiritually Refreshing. Patience Truly Is A Virtue But More Importantly, It’s A Fruitage Of The Spirit. Why Do We Need To Exercise Patience? For 1: When We Are Faced With Trials, Challenges Or Difficult Circumstances Brought About By This Wicked System Of Things, It Can Be Easy To Lose Hope. However, As We Wait On Jehovah And Trust In His Timing And Promises, We Learn To Rely On Him More and More. This In Turn Deepens Our Faith And Helps Us Grow Spiritually. What Lesson(s) Have Your Learnt From Being Patient? Lemme Know In The Comment Section👇 🤳: Shot With My Trusted Old #iPhone7 #JW #Jehovahswitness #Jehovahswitnesses #JWLagos #JWNigeria #ProudlyJW #JW9ja #JWFamily #ExercisePatienceConvention #ExercisePatiencePatienceRegionalConvention #JWFriends #JWGirl #JW _Nigeria #JWAbuja #JWConvention #JWOrg #RegionalConvention2023 #SangoOta

I Intended To Post Them As Part Of A Series Later Next Month. Ps: Slept Off While Typing This 😴, Just Woke Up 🥱 Hence The Reason Why I’m Posting Now. #TheFarouq #PositiveVibes #Psychologist #ProudlyJW #JWNigeria

What Would You Like To Talk About? It’s #Day9 Of #15DaysOfConsistency Challenge And I’ve Been Trying My Best To Keep This Going But My Circular Job Got The Better Of Me Today. However, I’m Excited About The Supportive Community We’ve Built These Past Couple Of Days And Would Love To Keep The Conversation Going. That Being Said, I’d Like Us To Just Talk As A Community. How’s Your Week Going And How Has Your Day Been?

🗣: PLEASE READ CAPTION👇 This Message Can’t Be Overemphasized. Depression Is A Disorder Of The Brain And A Serious Mental Illness That Goes Beyond Mood Swings Or Feeling Blue For A Few Days. The Prevalence Of Depression In Nigeria Is Estimated At 3.1% (69,379,435 Million) And Is More Common In Females Than Males. The Estimated Incidence Increased Globally By 49.86% From 72 Million In 1990 To 258 Million In 2017 And Has Steadily Been On The Rise. Furthermore, Stigmatization Of People With This Illness Is Also Prevalent In Nigeria And Most Developing African Countries Which Makes It Difficult For Individuals To Seek Adequate Mental Health Services. As Part Of My #15DaysOfConsistency Challenge, I’ll Be Sharing Few Tips On How To Cope With This Illness And Institutions Where You Can Easily Access Mental Health Services. #TheFarouq Here And I’ll See You In My Next Video✌🏼

Our Ego Plays A Major Role In Shaping How We Behave In Relationships. However, Not Recognizing When To Let Go Of It Can Ruin Even The Happiest Of Relationships (i.e. Marriages, Friendships, Family Ties, Etc). Most Times, Knowing When To Let Go Of Your Ego Can Be All You Need To Save A Relationship. Why Though Do You Think It Is Sometimes Difficult To Let It Go?
