Monsters of Loch Lomond 🌊
As the leader of your clan, your mission is to ensure its safety from monsters and outshine rival clans. Players must memorize cards, take calculated risks, and make strategic decisions. The objective is to eliminate monsters by chasing them to opponents or the open Highlands.
🌊Each card represents an inhabitant with varying points, and the goal is to have the fewest points.
Chieftains start with four cards, aiming to get rid of monsters. Special cards add twists, and players can call ‘Saorsa’ when ready to end the round. Victory Tokens are awarded to the player with the lowest points. The game ends after all Victory Tokens are won.
🌊The game is easy to learn, family-friendly, and can be easily replayed. It is high in player interaction and is dependent on the draw of the cards.
Memory is key as you need to remember your own cards on the table as well as what you dealt to others in what position, what gets taken away and what other players give you.
🌊Art is AI generated. It looks goods and has a vibe that matches the theme very well. But I would prefer human made artwork, why? Well it is like Hayao Miyazaki said: it feels like an insult to life itself. Sounds harsh I know but there is truth in it.
What are your thoughts on AI generated artwork?
