This is hard because once you say your goals out loud, you are taking responsibility to make it happen, but I am trying to be vulnerable and step out of my comfort zone so here it goes. 🤓
.
My goals for 2020 include: - stick to my yoga practice
- learn and cook delicious nutritious food
- journal and meditate every day
- grow my website and online platform - keep my finances in check .
In my previous post I talked about being specific and realistic. So now that I made a list, I will break it down into small actionable achievable steps. Make it so small that I have no choice but to crush that goal. 💪
For example, ‘learn and cook delicious nutritious food’ translates into ‘I will cook homemade food 5 days of the week, and will learn and try 1 new recipe a month’. 🌟
Trust me, I was very tempted to say ‘I will cook all my food at home and will order no takeaway and I will cook something new every week’. But if I do that, what will happen when life gets in the way and one week I don’t have the time or energy to cook every day? Will I get disappointed at myself, feel like a failure, and then give up because I already missed my goal? Well no, I refuse to do this. So I adapt my goals to myself.
I say I will cook 5 days of the week and try 1 new recipe a month because it’s very achievable for me. It might not seem like a lot but if you consider that most of us work with an average of 10 recipes, then adding 12 new ones to my repertoire is great improvement! 🥙🌮
And if 12 becomes 15 even better! But the point is my goals will become reality. 🌟And that is how you MAKE IT HAPPEN! 🌟
Maybe you cook a homemade meal just once a week, so your goal could be to turn it into twice a week. Make it your own! But do it!
So what are you goals for 2020? What small actionable steps are you going to take to make it happen?
Please leave a comment, I would love to read about your goals!
I will post recommendations to the most common ones in the next few days so follow for an update!
Happy New Year!
