“Lost in Zion” 📷: @cadevlacos Back in May we made our way to Zion to shoot some content. It was my first time out there and I figured we could just find a random spot to camp in. Once I rolled up to the opening gates of Zion I quickly learned that’s not how Zion works. We showed the folks our Disneyland fast pass and we cruised through the park in 20 min. We decided to pull over, popped the @gfc_usa into cabana mode and drank a beer. We had no service, and we were running low on beer. A van pulled up to us as Cade and Lazor were flipping each other off taking a piss on opposite sides of the road. The dude in the van thought we were flipping him off so he turned around to see what we were up to. He ended up being a homie and gave us loose directions to a cutty little camp spot he knew of. The kind of directions that is just “drive down this road. Make a right and then make another right. If you start going up a hill you’ve gone too far” We ended up finding the spot. He ended up coming by later on in the night. Things got weird. But that’s a story for another time. P.S. this is my favorite photo of me n Lazor 👬 #beerinreview

“Not so high - lining” 📷: @cadevlacos In February we met up with a good pal @handsomerobinson to shoot a little piece on him for onewheel and try our hand at high lining (except for him this was training and nowhere near what he does as a professional). None of us on the team are all that good at slack lining so I’m not too sure why we thought we would be able to do it 60ft above the ground but we gave it our best. Thanks for the experience Ryan, let’s give it another go soon #beerinreview

“Happi - Time” 📷: @brantcastro Howdy Instagram friends. It’s been a while…This year sure has been fun. In 2021 I had the pleasure to create a lot of good memories with a lot of my friends. Experiences and adventures I’ll never forget. Along the way, there’s been some rad shots I’ve contemplated posting but never really felt all that creative nor inspired to share. This morning I came up with the idea to do my take on a year in review, however I’m calling it “a beer in review.” I took the time to wrangle some of my favorite photos that I believe captures good memories, experiences, and adventures that I would like to share with you all. My goal is to sit down, drink a beer, relive the moment, and tell you a story. That’s my hope at least. Welcome to my “beer in review” This photo was taken by Brant at Wyatt’s cabin in Bear Valley (January ‘21) A few of us friends got together to celebrate Wyatt and Brant’s birthdays. No phone service, plenty of beer and whiskey, and a shit ton of backgammon. It was also Koda’s first real time in the snow. I’ve always liked this photo and it’s been sitting in my favorites for quite some time. In the beginning of the year we were deeeep into backgammon. It’s probably been 4 months since I’ve played it last. If you know us, you know we go through phases pretty quick. I also dig the color in this photo. Cheers 🍻 #BeerInReview

This is probably one of my favorite photos captured by @matt_alberts_ of @thelifersproject while filming for our Lost Summer Project that will be premiering sometime soon. I’ve been holding onto it for quite some time now, just waiting for a good time to post, and I guess there’s no better time than today to share a photo of you and your pup. Watching Koda grow up is probably one of the sickest things I’ve ever experienced. There’s nothing better than waking up to a dog that looks to you for the next adventure. Whether it be camping, mountain biking, riding wheels, or even getting hooked by a fly while fly fishing, she’s always been right there by my side and hot darn do I love the shit out of her. She’s a strange mutt, she scares the shit out of small children and even some grown ass men, and heck some may even think she is a wolf, but she is the greatest hungover decision of my life. Cheers to more adventures with the ones you love 🍻
