How to effectively apply our Retinol 0.1% Clear Skin P.M. Balance Serum?
If you're new to the product, always start with a patch test before applying one pump onto cleansed, moist skin. Start with applying your serum 2-3 times per week, gradually increasing as your skin builds tolerance to the active ingredients. Formulated with Vitamin A, your skin may become sensitive to UV rays, so always ensure you're applying your Retinol 0.1% serum at night time.
According to dermatologist @dralicerudd , "Because serums work the skin more than a cleanser and a moisturiser, they are oil soluble and deliver the active ingredients more effectively. Our BHA 2% Clear Skin A.M. Balance Serum helps to improve skin texture, clarity and hydration while the Retinol 0.1% Clear Skin P.M. Balance Serum works to prevent new breakouts from occurring."

Because no one has time for a stubborn spot the day before a big event. Our Blemish Remedy Fast Acting Drying Lotion is a targeted, triple-action anti-acne treatment has been co-developed dermatologist @dralicerudd . It is expertly formulated with active levels of sulfur, salicylic acid, and zinc oxide to tackle acne spots overnight.
Why should you be using a cleanser with active ingredients like Salicylic Acid? We asked Dermatologist and co-creator of the Balance range, @dralicerudd
"A really important ingredient is salicylic acid, or a BHA. That's an oil soluble acid that gets into the grease glands and helps to degrease. We want this to degrease and remove any grime and oil from the skin, but without drying it. Follow this up with a moisturiser that's going to hydrate but not clog the skin."
And another hot tip from Dr. Alice? "Always do a double cleanse."
