Of course we have to kick things off with the absolutely iconic ‘Strawberry Thief’ design c.1883 which William Morris based on the thieving thrushes that stole strawberries from his kitchen garden at his Oxfordshire home Kelmscott Manor.
Each ceramic brooch is hand cut, hand glazed and delicately hand finished in our Cornish studio.

It’s a cold and crisp Monday morning in the Tamar Valley and we are busy working away in the pottery.
Here’s a little look at one of our shelves of hand painted terracotta buttons coming out of the kiln. These will shortly have a range of decorative transfers applied and then fired again before being packed up and sent off to their new home.
