@eatlearnplay schoolyard builds for 2023! We finished our sixth and final build of the year this week with the awesome community at Laurel Elementary in
#Oakland . Thanks to our incredible partners
@kaboom and
@ousdnews , the continued generous support of the Bhusri family, and our entire community of volunteers and supporters, the
@laurellions now have a new kid-designed play structure, 2 multi-sport courts, nature exploration area, 22 newly planted trees, and beautiful murals.
These six new schoolyards mean that nearly 3,000 students will have high-quality, safe, joyful places to play and be active, and this is just the beginning! Over the next three years, Eat. Learn. Play. will complete 25 schoolyards at Oakland elementary schools as part of our commitment to bring additional resources and support to Oakland students. We got you, Oakland!
