Spotify pays the majority of every dollar we generate from music back to your selected rights holders (record labels, publishers, PROs, collecting societies) and distributors 🎶 In 2023, that added up to more than $9 billion. Today, we updated our annual Loud & Clear report, which shares the breakdown of where all that money comes from and where it’s going. For four consecutive years now, we’re still the only music streaming service to share how much money we’re paying to rights holders and exactly how many artists are generating different levels of revenue — from $1,000 through $10 million. Swipe for the 2023 takeaways you need to know, then visit the link in our bio to explore the full report 📲
