Easter Twix Eggs 🐣
Ingredients
60g flour
20g almond flour
1/4 tsp salt
85g butter *soften
25g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Your favorite caramel sauce
Coating
Tempered Dark chocolate

Tempered Milk chocolate
In a medium bowl cream butter, sugar, vanilla and whisk until smooth. Add the flour, almond meal, salt, and mix until combined and dough forms. Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour. Roll out the dough. Cut out dough and cut cookies with cookie cutter. Carefully transfer the cookies to prepared baking sheets. Bake at 175c pre-heated oven for approximately 15minutes or until lightly golden brown. Allow cookies to cool completely.
Add chocolate to the molds. Use the spoon to spread the chocolate up the sides of each mold. Make sure the entire inside of each mold is evenly coated with chocolate. Allow to set at room temperature for 10 mins and then place in the fridge for 20 mins. Fill with caramel sauce, place the cookie on top.
Seal the mould with chocolate.
Allow to set at room temperature for 10mins and then place in the fridge for 20 mins.
Once set, carefully remove the chocolate eggs from the mold. Enjoy!
