The rugged and wild Oregon Coast 🌊
For a sense of just how big these cliffs are, zoom in on the center and see if you can spot the person standing there.
As day transitions to night in Ålesund, Norway.
I loved staying in this small town on the rugged Norwegian coast. If you ever get the chance to visit Ålesund, definitely do so, and then make your way up to Aksla Viewpoint for this view at sunset.
Life update: We moved back to Washington!
After a year and a half on the road in the truck/trailer, we decided to come back to Washington for good.
We loved our time out in the trailer: waking up in scenic places, chasing good weather, and seeing so much of this beautiful country. It is definitely something I would recommend trying sometime if you can. But there are pros and cons to both lifestyles and after much deliberation, we felt it was time to come home: to have more stability and to be closer to our family and our community. We had each other out on the road, but there was certainly a sense of isolation out there that we both felt.
Washington is home, and I am excited to be grounded here again and get back to my roots of adventuring around the PNW.
So we sold the trailer, traded the truck in for a Bronco Sport, got an apartment in the Seattle area, and Priya started a new adventure, working in the corporate world at Costco Travel, and I couldn’t be more proud of her for taking on this new challenge.
So expect more PNW adventures from us soon ✌️🌲🌊🌧️
Timing is everything.
You can call it “Instagram vs Reality” but the truth is they are both reality.
I didn’t photoshop anyone out of the image.
This is just the difference between a rainy Monday morning in December and 2pm on a nice weekend in the summer.
The beauty of Lofoten for your Sunday morning.
I feel like not a week goes by that I don’t think about this place, and just how incredible it was to see in person.
