On these chairs, on these armchairs in other houses people who are no longer here used to sit, and the scent of that distant era is still preserved, as in a dream.” Roberto Peregalli writes a brilliant text to accompany the story of his late mother’s apartment in Milan which he decorated for her after his father died and where she spent the last years of her life.
