A perfect fit! Stairs are such a fun place to be creative and in this case spatially ideal for my hanumanasana. This pose only happens for pictures and my knees aren’t thrilled about hard surfaces but picture pain is impermanent 🙈

In true catch up fashion here it’s a double post day. Our last day of #aloboutsoaring is yogis choice and I chose a pike press. This is a “I can’t believe I can do this” after ages of thinking “I will never be able to do this” skill.

I can’t stress enough that everyone who can do something started from the beginning and struggled for various amounts of time with it. It’s hard not to be discouraged but don’t be afraid to suck at it for awhile. No one’s legs are too long / short, arms to big / small to do something if you learn technique and practice the F out of it…period.
.
This challenge was so fun and we are thankful for all of the participants- thank you thank you!

I went with a bound headstand to a supreme variant (half tripod half forearm) to tripod. After my switch did a lotus to urdhva kukkutasana back to headstand. Whew! Also catching up on our feed but will be there asap!
