More shark portraits 🦈 Tigers are seriously my favorite models to work with underwater. Always big smiles showing their teeth and they love coming in close for the shot! Really though I love seeing their shadows move along the sand as they swim around. Tiger tiger beach y’all 🤘🏽

I’ll never be able to say enough thank you’s to those that came out last weekend for the @malamamunoz event! Your donations, support, and messages have meant the world to me! Hawaii community is unlike any other and I’m glad to be apart of it! Thanks so much to @dogtorlam for calling me with such an awesome idea! He was the one who put everything in motion! Thanks @taylork.sea for all the hard work you put into organizing the event and making it run smooth! And of course to all the volunteers that came out to help. Appreciate each and every one of you! I wish I could tag every single person to say thank you publicly, but you know who you are ;) Was so stoked to see some of my art sell and I can’t wait to see it hanging in your homes! Looking forward to more events like this in the future :)

This day has been my favorite interaction with a baby whale I’ve ever had. I think this is also the cleanest whale photo I’ve ever taken, and I love it 🐳 Glad to have shared the water this day with great friends as well. The baby played on the surface for 20 minutes and swam around and circled each group at least twice. Interactions we remember forever.

This is Tuamotu living. Being so far from any town, city, or store for that matter means fish is our main source of protein. Even with limited fridge and freezer space it is impossible to try and stock up on proper fresh supplies at the very limited stores that are around us. Thankfully we were able to land this 35lbs dogtooth tuna. This fish has fed us for so many meals and we still have a bit left in the freezer. Thankful for the healthy ocean out here that we get to enjoy. Looking forward to spending a few more weeks in this remote location!

We’ve only spent 3 days in paradise yet so much amazing stuff has happened. Landed big fish, swam with over 100 melon headed whales, seen manta rays, swam with massive schools of sharks, and more! Excited to see what the ocean will throw at us as we spend more time out here!

Every once in a while the ocean really surprises you. Wishing I could spend more time in this moment. This was a pod of 30 or more sperm whales. It seemed like there was just one large male and the rest were all females, juveniles, and younglings. Sperm whales are tight knit families who will at least all grow up together until the males split off from the pod. This particular day the juveniles would position themselves directly in front of us vocalizing and showing affection towards each other by rubbing in to one another. A dream opportunity for a photograph I’ve always wanted to try and capture 🙏🏽 To see more content from this particular day click the link in my profile 🎥

It has been a very busy and challenging several months of preparation but I’m super stoked to announce the release of my YouTube channel! I’ve really enjoyed learning more about filmmaking, editing, audio, scripting, how YouTube works, and more. It would be amazing for those seeing this to follow the link either on my profile or in my story and subscribe to my page! I want to share content about underwater photography, freediving education, spearfishing, travel, and more! I really would appreciate all feedback as well! Suggestions, comments, or even videos you want to see! I’ve got more content coming out this week and am super excited about some awesome travel plans in the coming weeks so stay tuned for even more videos :) 📸 @wayne_sartorio

Does anyone ever actually make it to their dentist appointment when they schedule you 6 months out? Sharks do, I can tell you that. 🦈🦷
