At home with a selection of beautiful objects that I cherish, where everyday moments become memorable; the ordinary becomes extraordinary. 🪄
1/ Rouge Hermès Autumn-Winter 2023 by Hermès (
@hermes )
Beauty objects and tools designed by Pierre Hardy are equally poetic and functional. Experiencing how these Hermès products incorporate seamlessly into my beauty routine and space brings a smile to my face.
2/ Art Recherche Industrie ‘Le Jeu’ by Ramdane Touhami (
@artrechercheindustrie )
I’ve always admired Ramdane’s design sensibilities, characterised by a strong signature that is resolutely driven by his entrepreneur spirit and desire to work on every aspect of his creation. This board game is a creative initiative from his creative agency ARI, where Ramdane and his team pride themselves in designing this product from start to finish. As he states – “If you're cool, this game will come to you naturally. If not, we're so sorry…”
3/ Un Air de Bretagne by L'Artisan Parfumeur (
@lartisanparfumeur )
Celebrated for its audacious nature-infused fragrances, Un Air de Bretagne is inspired by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou’s love for the wild Brittany coast and the endless energy of its wind and waves. With its crisp and salty marine accord, this scent is a fresh departure from my (rather) masculine taste in fragrances, perfect for Singapore’s hot and humid weather.
4/ Unicorn Octopus Letter Opener by L'Objet (
@lobjet )
My husband’s colleague gifted us this beautiful object as a celebratory gesture to commemorate our wedding last year. Crafted from brass and adorned with an otherworldly pink resin, this letter opener epitomises the whimsical surrealism that defines L'Objet's style and sensibilities.
5/ Artek Miniatures Tea Trolley 901 & Armchair 41 “Paimio” by Takara Tomy Arts (
@artekglobal @takaratomyasia )
My (unhealthy) obsession with chairs persists. With Artek’s greatest hits in miniature form, numerous signature design elements are duplicated in small-scale, with proportions perfectly done to scale. Paired with a pop-up book showcasing ten iconic chairs of design history, gifted to me by my great friend Jas (
@jasrew ).
