Outdoor Plank: Side Plank Variation ◀️◀️
For today’s
#plankpose , we have a side plank… with Eagle or
#garudasana legs. This is one I picked up in a Rocket class about a year ago and have fallen in love with ever since. It’s simple yet very challenging which for me personally are my favorite types of poses. A few tips to get into this one:
++ Start in
#Downdog
++ Bring the right knee across the body to the left elbow
++ Left foot comes flat and bend the left knee a tad (this will really help create the space needed to wrap the legs)
++ Begin to wrap the right leg around the left to wherever feels comfortable
++ Shift the weight into the right hand and voila!
++ For bonus points, shift the gaze up
