The side table’s shape evokes that of a small rocket booster/thruster. Its top is crafted from thick silvered glass, gleams in the light. Its sturdy body is enveloped in an ultra-matte lacquer, absorbing light and creating a striking contrast with its radiant top.

Happy International Women’s Day! ❤️
In 1977, Lisa Lindahl, Polly Smith and Hinda Schreiber pioneered the creation of the first sports bra by sewing two jockstraps together. This garment revolutionised women’s participation in sports: where one in twenty-seven women played a sport in 1970, two in five do today.
This is one of the many stories featured in ‘MATCH’, an exhibition about sports and design opening next week at the Musée du Luxembourg, in Paris. An exact replica of this ingenious and beautiful object, recreated especially for the show, will be on display.
