WORKING WITH WOOL… I am, for sure, primarily a quilter who works with cotton fabric and loves pieced blocks. But once in a while, I love to branch out into a bit of appliqué and a bit of wool.
I had so much *FUN* creating these whimsical farm animal towels to welcome Spring, and once I made them for myself, it only seemed fitting that I share them with you all, right?!
My dear friend Susan [
@thefeltedpear ] joined me and created some adorable wool-accent sachets/pincushions/bowel fillers (really…it’s whatever you prefer to call them and use them for) showcasing a trio of berries, a mini mason jar, and the cutest bunny - complete with a bow! I knew we had to share those here, too.
Looking back through the blog, it appears my last wool tutorials are from 2016, and although the majority of my process remains the same, I wanted to give you all a refresher post (published TODAY) with a few new tips and tricks. Susan also gives some helpful tips on her featured seasonal projects, too! Be sure to check it out [link in bio]!
…and we just might have some kits to make your own farm animals, too. Check the shop! ;)
