Spring time in the great state of Utah 🏜️ 📸 @austinpedersen__ We’re coming up on my absolute favorite time to be in the desert. April in Utah has always been my favorite time to explore here, as temps begin to rise to pleasant temps before the summer heat, the trees and brush in the canyons come to life with vibrant greens, and desert flowers making their short appearance, I really can’t think of a better time to be exploring throughout southern Utah. Have you ever explored the desert in the Spring?

Although I live in the beautiful state of Utah, it’s awesome to have so such a great (and picturesque) neighbor like Arizona! Sometimes northern Arizona feels like a perfect extension of the wonders of southern Utah. It’s no wonder it keeps me coming back for more. . 📸 @dinosaur802 . . #igsouthwest #nationalpark #nationalparks #nationalparkgeek #nationalparklife #natgeoyourshot #roadtripusa #livebravely #monumentvalley #navajo #navajonation #monumentvalleynavajotribalpark #arizonaphotographer #arizonaisgorgeous #arizona _landscapes #arizonacollective #azliving #azphotographer #arizonalife #arizonasky #conquerarizona #see _arizona #utahliveelevated #utahisbeautiful # #natgeotravel #earthpix #nikonz #nikonz7 #withmytamron

📍Mayflowers Gulch, Frisco, Colorado (I-70 West to Copper Mountain) 📸 @pjsanonf Mayflower Gulch used to be a mining site for gold back in the 19th century. Miners moved in with the hopes of making fortunes by extracting gold from thick veins of gold they found in the basin and the surrounding mountains. Little they know their business was going to be short-lived when the gold taken from the basin wasnt pure enough to reap high profits. Due to that reason, the Boston Mine and Kokomo ghost towns were born. Today we take these fantastic views at the expense of the miners old cabins sitting elegantly at the base of a sawtooth mountain ridge backdrop, surrounded by green conifer pine trees and a blanket of snow to make this scenery a winter wonderland. #colorado #bostonmine #roamtheplanet #kokomo #coppermountain #goldmine #breckenridge #ski #snowshoeing #hiking #mayflower #gulch #trail #backcountry #beautifuldestinations #placestovisit #explorecolorado #exploreusa #USA #hiking #ghost #backpacking
