For those that don’t know, we recently lost our dear friend Eric. He was truly the kindest soul. We discovered punk music together, played in our first bands together, and went to shows together every weekend. We tried to study “music industry” at USC together, but it was only Eric they wanted. Instead I looked forward to visiting and DJ’ing his Beta parties. In recent years we bonded over the A’s as a chance to hang out and reconnect, getting the first Treehouse Pass and going to countless games. I was excited for his new opportunity in Seattle. I just wish I was there for him more. I hope you’re in a better place, Eric. I miss you.
I recently spent some quality time in Asheville, NC learning about Clearwater Hawes (aka A1-Voodoo), his partner Cheney (SenseNet) and their Straylight Music Group, which operates the longest running jungle and drum ‘n’ bass label, Force Recordings. The projects that involve music are always extra special for me 🤗

After we made @morningdeliveries in 2020, @rrobbbiee told me he was determined to make a movie before 35. I was in 100%. And now, a week before I’m turning 35, we wrapped production on a movie! I am so grateful for my partner in crime @markdavidlol , and our traveling G&E brothers @ellisroy4 and @iconic_lab for having my back. It was a total team effort, and I hope everyone is as proud as I am. I still can’t believe what we were able to accomplish in the last 10 days. Thanks again to anyone who donated. Stay tuned to @grieve.movie for updates…
Welcome to The @yourpillowguy Era! @jasonmecier is selling pillows with images of his incredible artwork. He had this concept of producing song and video to promote them. I demo’d some song ideas and made the track. They recorded vox at home on their phones during the pandemic. I sent it to @sampura for a mix. Then Jason had this far out idea of a weird Mary Tyler Moore - Star Trek VFX - time portal - cave - local access - commercial music video concept. I was stoked.
What do you think? Should I post some vfx behind the scenes? Full video on YouTube.
