VR HOUSE (Bentveld, Netherlands 2019 — 2022) designed by @nicolasschuybroekarchitects @nicolasschuybroek The essence of his work is based on generating serene, pure and warm spaces, often creating sophisticated, monastic and minimalist atmospheres. His works explore a sharp vision of space and materials. Most people recognize Nicolas’ hand through his rigorous and contextual approach: embracing the essence of built forms, from the roughest construction to the smallest interior details. "In this interior design project, the interplay of materials creates a truly unique space. The three main materials used: light beige micro-cement, dark oak wood and natural Vancouver granite stone come together to create a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen island adds a sculptural dimension and becomes the central focus" @miriam.barrio Photos: @eltonrocha

The architect Nina Gómez-Millán, at the head of the @zinc_arquitectos carried out the renovation project for this 200 square metre duplex in Madrid's Chamartín district, setting herself three challenges: to maximise natural light, to give more order to the spaces and their circulation, and to reduce the low ceiling height as much as possible. Serial Vision Home by @mesura.eu “As human beings, we are strongly influenced by the atmospheres that surround us; they effortlessly shape our perceptions and change our attitudes depending on the space we inhabit. In The Serial Vision Home, materiality assumes a leading role to help fulfil these premises and cover two primary functions: to set the mood of the house and to make each space intuitively identifiable. To achieve these objectives, a soft colour palette takes over the walls, ceilings and floors. This combination of tones creates a natural and pleasant atmosphere; a sense of calm reigns in the space” (Mesura) Photos: @_marinadenisova_ Contributors: @carla_cascales_alimbau @santacole @nanimarquina_official @valeria.vasi @rowsebeauty @brats.studio

Residencia IK is a very special residential project designed by @trenchsstudio It is a house located in La Moraleja (Madrid) and designed in 1982 by the Egyptian architect Samir Youssef, a disciple of Oscar Niemeyer. The owners wanted to convert it into a Mediterranean refuge in the city and the result is impressive. Natural and noble materials have been used to create a natural and enveloping atmosphere with warm and neutral tones, but without standing out in order to enhance the architecture and the play of natural light. Don Ramón de La Cruz project by @ooaa_arquitectura for a Spanish family. The house is divided into two volumes that contain the more private uses with the aim of dividing without creating partitions and freeing up the rest of the floor. As for the finishes, as usual in the studio's projects, neutral tones, bone colours, wood and natural textiles have been used to create an atmosphere of comfort and calm.
