I wanna talk about what you won’t see in this vid…
Bras. Slips. Undies. After mentioning last week that we all need new ones, and having been on my own foundation piece personal journey for decades and worked through a number of “best bra” lists, I’m gonna start dropping recs (and… un-recs) in stories. Not all at once, mind, but I’ll save. And, um, none of these are affiliate or collab and there will not be any surprise appearances of yours truly. Marked safe (you? Me? Both?).
Actually I’ll even throw this out there - if there’s one you want me to test and review, lmk - or if I’ve already tried it I’ll expedite the feedback.
(And while these videos are always a bit rustic as I search for optimal mama life efficiency in all things, apologies for the particularly grainy ones, we had some gloomy days and hasty time slots)

Bookseller outfit roundup 📚📖🦉
I used to think I needed to have this big career or this prestigious job title to make a difference, to be seen as worthy, when all I really wanted to do was be surrounded by books all day.
So yea, the pay isn’t great and sometimes retail is a monster, but I love my job so very much.

Do you buy clothes when you’re “in between”? I recommend it, and still remember the conversation with my husband when he said it was ok for me to have jeans that fit *right now*, without trying to divine the future.
As women our bodies are changing all the time (intra monthly even), and particularly when you’re having children you’ll find yourself stuck with ill fitting clothes - but you’re worried about how long they’ll fit, or if you even *want* them to keep fitting.
So don’t buy a whole new wardrobe when you had a baby yesterday. But yeah, have a pair of trousers that fit. Invest in a dress that works post partum, early trimesters, maybe even when you’re “back in shape” (whatever that means), or a skirt that you can wear over the bump til you’re holding your 1 month old and wearing it where you suspect your waist will reappear. Treat yourself to a staple cardigan that is gonna fit forever (maybe not buttoned at 9 months but who needs that kind of judgment).
All the in-between times add up to years and years - it’s okay to look for in-between clothes. And yeah it’s probably time to buy new underwear.
Friendly reminder that there is only one opinion that truly matters regarding what you put on your body: your own. If there are people in your life that disagree, it might be time for a little house cleaning 🥰
