'Nush' by Ryan Chatfield (@_ryanchatfield )
"This image was taken of my friend Nush on the first expedition for our Disney Plus Series "Shipwreck Hunters Australia". We were free-diving in the Montebello Islands testing gear and looking for a huge resident Queensland Grouper know as "Dot". Nush is an exceptional camerawomen and talented free-diver, I just happened to catch her on her way up for a breathe in some really nice afternoon light. Although the structure on the seabed is not historical shipwreck artefacts, it helped to paint a picture of what was a truly memorable moment in time for me in shooting the series. So it's an element that I really enjoy about this photo."

‘Boyd's Forest Dragon’ by Danielle Spencer (@dspencer_photo ).
“It was a low light day in the forest without a tripod so I used a high ISO and low f stop to be able to use a fast enough shutter speed to capture a sharp stable image.
I quietly approached the Forest Dragon so as not to scare it. Once comfortable with my presence, the dragon continued to wait for any passing prey. These animals are ambush predators so spend many hours waiting for small creatures to pass in front of them, this makes them perfect models for any keen wildlife spotters. Often perched on tree trunks, it’ll scramble around the trunk to the other side if you get too close! This species is found in the Wet Tropics here in northern Queensland.”

Location: Mossman Gorge, Far North Queensland.

‘Lake Pukaki in Spring’ captured by Cam Stables (@cam_snaps ).
“Captured during the fleeting bloom of lupin season in New Zealand. Took me a few mornings to line up a clear sky over Aoraki Mt Cook that reflects a similar tone to the warm pink of the lupins.
In order to really showcase the scale of Mt Cook in the background, the image was shot at a longer focal length to compress the image and then focus stacked in post to retain sharpness throughout.”
Shot on EOS R and RF 24-105mm f/4. Settings: 1/60 sec | f/8 | ISO 500 | 105mm.
