🧤 The G Comp Evo is the quintessential glove for ski mountaineering. Crafted with soft and breathable fabrics that improve sensitivity, this glove ensures enhanced comfort and a perfect temperature regulation when on the move. The integrated Windmit’N hides in a pocket on the wrist and can be pulled out for protection, leaving a part of the palm free for extra grip. 👉 Link in Bio Photo credit📷: @antoine.mesnage

🙌 Look! No hands! On a kneebar, @steghiso jokes with the photographer and rests before tackling the last crux move of “Il terzo occhio” (9a): his most recent first ascent on the overhangs of Drena Castle, by Arco.

'🧗‍♀️ Not only ice axes and crampons for our @zdenekhacek , who completed the tricky first ski descent of the East Couloir (800 m, 55°) of Lisenser Fernerkogel (3298 m, Stubai Alps, Austria). Scroll the images to read his story!

🏞 Fitz Roy (3405 m): a granite giant at the far end of the world. The Tehuelche people called it “Chaltén”, that is “the smoking mountain” because of the clouds that often linger around its summit. The Argentinian explorer Francisco Pascasio Moreno changed its name and dedicated it to the British sailor and explorer Robert Fitz Roy. An overall imposing sight, when seen from the east, Fitz Roy encompasses, left to right, the pillar of the first ascent (Lionel Terray and Guido Magnone, 1952), the east pillar that was climbed by the Ragni di Lecco in 1976, the “Diedro del Diablo”, sent by Slovenian climbers in 1983 and the north pillar, climbed by Renato Casarotto solo in 1979 and dedicated to his wife Goretta. '🧗‍♀️ “Keep well away if you suffer from vertigo!” When you climb El Capitan, just like @lucamoronimountainguide of the @ragnidilecco did, the void is palpable and fills you with adrenaline: the world acquires a vertical sphere and the trees on the green Yosemite background become smaller and smaller.

🧗‍♀️ Weighing a feathery 185 grams, the Corsa Race is the lightest certified ice axe in the world: a masterpiece of sleekness for the most technical ski mountaineering competitions like the legendary Mezzalama Trophy! Among its top features: its 50-cm length meets the minimum standard for ISMF, its aluminium shaft with reduced thickness and without an antisnow insert ensures the utmost lightness, while the machined holes further reduce weight and improve handling. 👉 Link in Bio Photo credit📷: @maurytorri

🎂 Today marks a special day: @janja_garnbret turns 25! Join us in a special wish: Janja has given us motivation, excitement and she made us dream, ever since we met her when she was a young kid. That was 2014, ten years ago: how time flies! A long journey that started with youth competitions – where Janja seemed unbeatable – the many successes in the World Cup – we have stopped counting them – up to the 2020 Olympic Gold in Tokyo. Thank you Janja for all the things you have given us and will keep on delivering: the many emotions, the satisfaction and the pride of being beside one of the strongest climbers of all times! Happy birthday from us all at C.A.M.P.! Photo credit📷: @tam.vidmar

“Pot” (The route) is the title of the wonderful autobiography of legendary Slovenian alpinist Nejc Zaplotnik. But not surprisingly it is also the name of Luka Lindič and Luka Krajnc’s latest Patagonian masterpiece: a 750-meter line – 500 new with difficulties of 6c and A3 and 250 in common with the classic “Whillans-Cochrane” – on the south face of Aguja Poincenot (3002 m). This is another great success by Luka & Luka, adding to the recent first ascent of “Beauty and the Beast” on Rjavina (2532 m) in the Slovenian Julian Alps (2023), the first ascent of “Mir” on Aguja Saint-Exupéry (2558 m) just close to Aguja Poincenot (2020), and many more adventures together. “Pot” was opened from 23 to 26 February 2024. Lindič and Krajnc climbed the wall just to the right of “Historia interminable” by Spaniards Fernando Cobo and Máximo Murcia (1987), and far to the left of the 2012 Russian route and the magnificent east spur climbed by Italians Adriano Carnati, Alessio Bortoli and Massimo Colombo in 1986. 🎒 Evolution never stops and the Rapid Racing model proves this well! Our athletes did not merely offer advice: they came to our R&D centre and, with all the necessary support, they designed a matchless ski carrying method. We are talking about the exclusive X-Press system that features an innovative hook with an easy-to-grab ergonomic tab for the fastest transition in races. That’s the ultimate product for skimo races! 👉 Link in Bio Photo credit📷: @robertaccio90

⛰️ A super long route on one of the tallest rock walls on earth. This is “Afanassieff”, the 2300-metre long wall on the northwest face of Fitz Roy (3405m). A full-on adventure for the first ones who sent it – the French mountaineer Jean Afanassieff and his companions in 1979 –for the first ones who repeated the route a staggering 27 years later, and for @matteodezaiacomo93 and @chiieer a few weeks ago. “The climb proved a right challenge from the get go, both mentally and physically”, explains the Ragno di Lecco, and training started on the faces close to home, to get ready for Patagonia. Matteo and Chiara gave it all down there to have the best in return – that includes a fiery sunset on top – from one of the most mesmerizing mountains in the world! Photo credit📷: @matteodezaiacomo93
