“Relationships are the center of branding”. I just spent the last few days in Louisville, Kentucky @imagingusa with @ourppa ! It was my third year in a row and it was such a blast. One of my favorite things was reconnecting with people I’ve formed relationships with in the industry. There are people of all ages and walks of life and we were brought together by one thing: Photography. But the cool thing is that’s just the beginning of the bond. It goes SO far beyond that! I was stoked to be a part of such an awesome team of ambassadors! Kev and I have been working with some off camera lighting as of very recently and the vendors were so helpful with our dozens of questions. It was like having one on one mentoring! I also got to play with the Sony 600mm which is as big as my leg! And of course, listening to all speakers always ignites a little something in me! 🔥 I walked away feeling so inspired. Get ready for next year in Grapevine, Texas! #imagingusa2024 #ppaambassador #ad

Hey guys!! It’s my final reminder for @imagingusa later this month! It’s the non-profit, @ourppa ’s signature annual event and I look forward to it every year. It’ll be in Louisville, Kentucky from January 28-30, 2024. The even is especially unique because it’s the world’s largest and oldest photography conference and expo and you’ll find things such as keynote speakers, expert-led sessions on things like lighting and business tactics, plus lots of deals and demos within the trade show. I personally am super excited to check out some new lenses and camera equipment. On top of that, the entire conference is so inspirational and it always feels good to be surrounded by like-minded individuals. Last year I met a bunch of landscape photographers and we still keep in touch, so it’s great place to make friends too! I’ll be seeing some of them again at the event! SO… There are two ways to register. First, join PPA and go for free your first year of the membership. OR, register with the link below! Join PPA: /join/bri-amato/iusa24 Register for @imagingusa : /register I’ll leave the link in my bio as well. I hope to see you there, it’ll be a blast! #ad #ppaambassador . . . . . #austrianalps #switzerland #lauterbrunnen #visitswitzerland #idahoexplored #wanderingphotographers #hikingbangers #adventureoften #adventureseeker #lifeofadventures

City travel was my first type of travel. The trip that made me fall in love with traveling and travel photography, nearly 12 years ago. I went to Italy with my parents for 3 weeks while I was 16. My dad went out 2 weeks before my mom and I, and was staying on an olive grove in Tuscany, helping out a friend. If I recall, I even got to miss my last week of junior year due to our vacation. (I say “got to” because I was that kid who dreaded even so much as the thought of going school. *insert anxiety emoji*) It was before wifi seemed to be so readily available to be accessed everywhere you went, so I opted to leave my phone at home on this trip! This fact still baffles me but I’m so proud of my younger self. The photos I have from the trip are all taken on a little handheld digital camera and I light up every time I come across them. Work has led us to a lot of cities in the past couple of years, and while I prefer nature… I really do love photographing buildings and architecture. It’s where it seems to have all begun. There’s something about a still moment in time, captured amongst absolute chaos. And symmetry. Give me allll the symmetry. 1. Dubai 2. London 3. Innsbruck 4. London 5. Istanbul 6. Sirmione 7. Zermatt 8. Istanbul 9. Sirmione 10. Dubai #cityscapephotography #exploretheworld #wanderingsoul #travelingeurope #europeancity #dubaiinstagram #burjkhalifadubai #wanderingphotographers #wanderingfeet

2023 was the most amazing year of my life. I got engaged to my best friend. Our parents are healthy. Our little fur ball turned 12 years young. We moved. Our business is thriving. We had family visit from the east coast. We got our first real Christmas tree together. We’re fortunate enough to call our clients, friends. I’m healthy. Kev is healthy. While it’s heartbreaking that we lost a grandparent in November, he is no longer suffering. We have clean, running water. Heat. A roof over our heads. And access to food. We have passports that allow us to see this amazing world and remind us just how small we really are. And amazing family to always come home to. Gratefulness, above all else, is what’s most important. Some completely random but happy highlights of 2023. I needed like 500 slides but… 1. Got engaged 30 minutes before this. Taken in Switzerland in May 2. Paddle boarding in the Sawtooths with watermelon 3. Goofing around in Chamonix 4. Took my mom to Nashville 5. My loves, being cozy 6. Team Lab in Macau 7. Our home 🥺 8. A blue lake called Blue Lake. Almost got a flat tire on the way here 9. Camping and paddle boarding with my mom in Crested Butte. She then fell in the water. 10. Snagged Assiniboine permits and on our way to camp! Came back to a mouse intruder in our van… who ate our snacks. #2023recap #happylifestyle #travelingthroughtheworld #gratefulness #travelingcouple #switzerland _destinations #chamonix #canadianrockies #roadtrippers

The Beehive Loop in Acadia National Park, Maine. Such a fun hike with a few little adrenaline pumping sections! A plus if you go during fall colors! 🍂🍁🍁🍁🍂 In video: @kevineassa

Not much to see here other than some yellow Aspens accompanied by a rainbow mountain. One Crystal Lake. And the Million Dollar Highway leading up to some decent looking peaks. Meh. 😉 Second photo is the view to the right! Quite a spot we had to ourselves! . . . . #coloradophotography #sanjuanmountains #ouraycolorado #rockymountains #rainbowmountain #coloradomountains #colorfulcolorado #coloradofall #fallcolours
