📷 I had the best time taking photos and capturing the energy of the 5 elements spiritual retreat for the @wellnessfoundry . A year ago to date, I went on the same retreat which was gave me a perfect opportunity to sit and reflect on the year that has been. I am so so grateful for the year that I’ve had and still can’t quite believe it happened (also because time has just flown by). Thank you to every single person I met, you are all are divine and I wish you all the very best. Thank you to those who I had long , enriching conversations with or to those where the healing was felt through the silence. And thank you to @jamieraywellness & @wellnessfoundry for holding such a space for spiritual growth and connection for us all. A weekend I will cherish ✨💚 #retreat @yogaretreat #westlexham #socialmediamanager #retreatuk #yoga #spiritualgrowth

📍 Hiriketiya, Sri Lanka for a month I’ve been dreaming of coming to Hiri since dreaming of digital nomad living in Covid. In 2020 I saw a post from the co working space @verse_collective and since then I knew I had to try out living in this small surf town. It’s the kind of place where monkeys are everywhere, you walk around barefoot in your sarong and sip coconuts on the beach after your attempt to 🏄 . And I think the ocean/ waves might be on Par with the best beaches in aus. What I’ll remember: - @mond.hiriketiya croissant and coffee every morning with the monkeys - coconuts everyday at old mates place (the cute dogs rusty and holly ) - seeing the president of Sri Lanka on the beach 😜 - lots of massages at the massage shed -spider in the room eeeek Im still undecided in my debate ahangama/mirissa vs Hiri. But for now… all I can say is - I would 100% recommend Sri Lanka in Jan/feb. It’s the most beautiful county, with friendly people and I’m so glad it was on my list. My first time there, but not my last. Where to next 👀? #srilanka #srilankatravel #hiriketiya #hiriketiyabeach #coworking #digitalnomad #surfholiday

📍Ella, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 1. The imfamous nine arch bridge ft the train to Kandy 2. The mountains of Ella before the sun has risen 3. Our hotel, overlooking the rice paddies! I didn’t even know Sri Lanka had terrain like this - perfectly stunning 4. Running in said rice fields at sunrise 5. Walking around Ella town and exploring the charming chaos 6. Watching as the sun rose over little Adam’s Peak 7. The sun shining in little Adam’s peak and one of the only pictures James and I have together in the last 9 months! 8. Watching sunrise over the rice paddies 9. The stunning waterfall view from our homestay we stayed at in Ella (one of the nicest host at the blooming rose inn) 10. Our new fave animal the peacock at our hotel 🦚 Loving Sri Lanka - the landscape is wow and the people even better 💕🇱🇰 #ninearchbridge #ella #ellasrilanka #littleadamspeak #srilanka #srilankatravel #ricefields #peacockfeathers #srilankatrip #digitalnomad

📍 Yala National Park, Sri Lanka I have too much footage and don’t know what to do with it 🙌🤯 I am so grateful we chose to stay one night and two safaris with @campleopardyala . From the 7 course authentic meal under the stars to spotting a leopard, it was definitely an adventure of a lifetime. My favourite moment was when I needed a wee, and I had to do in the park- OUTSIDE the jeep, whilst everyone in the jeep was looking out for me. Now that is the definition of a WILD PEE! 😝 What Safari should I add to my bucket list next? #yala #yalanationalpark #srilanka #srilankatravel #safari #safaritour #adventure

Bucket list moment ☑️ Safari 🐆 🐘 Fallen in love with safaris and now want to travel all around the world spotting wild animals? ☑️ 🗺️ I had the best time with @campleopardyala exploring yala park. It made it all that much more exciting knowing that isn’t wasn’t guaranteed to see animals when we spotted wild elephants, crocs, LEOPARDS (Can you spot it in picture 8?) And lots of dancing peacocks and other exciting and beautiful animals. This world is a stunner. #yala #yalanationalpark #srilanka #safari #safarisrilanka #srilankatravel

🇱🇰Sri Lanka so far. 📍Mirissa Beach, Welligama, Ahangama What will stay in my mind: 🏄buses, crazy buses. Peacocks singing to wake us up. Local coconut man. @nalu_mirissa possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at for feeling like home and the nicest hosts. So much rice and curry. @nomadsrilanka the best French toast. #srilanka #srilankatravel #mirissa #mirrisabeach #ahangama #dreamseasurfcamp #digitalnomad

2023 🤩🎉🥳 Finishing off the year tired and craving for some routine but will a heart very very full. Thank you to every single person that made 2023 one to remember. It’s been a year of blessings, taking chances and lessons. And of course, some beautiful destinations 😍🏖️ 👋🏼Portugal 👋🏼New York 👋🏼Thailand 👋🏼Vietnam 👋🏼Bali 👋🏼Australia James and I left our London house In May and have been living and sharing a suitcase since. 🧳 We closed last year, saying goodbye to our family home in Gloucester and having our last Christmas there. This was the start of 2023 for me. Change, adventure, ungrounded-ness. I’ve been reminded of all the things that were right in front of me all along, including my lovely family and friends all around the world. I feel so blessed that every time I return “home” wether that’s Australia, Gloucester or London, I have people who welcome me with open arms. I re- fell in love with yoga and getting to know myself in travelling - the chaos and the quiet. I made some beautiful new friends around the world and tried to be live by the motto “be interested - not interesting” as I met others from different walks of life. I celebrated for the first time in 13 years Christmas with both my parents in the same country. 🎄 I haven’t sat down yet and thought “what will 2024 bring” but I suspect it’s going to be my biggest adventure yet. #2023 #reel #recap #2024 #audio #trending #mashup #newyear #digitalnomad #adventure #travel

I hate boats 🛥️ There I said it. Even though they look like a dream, you’re immersed with nature. Spending more than 2 hours in a boat in the middle of the ocean isn’t my ideal version of fun. There’s relentless rocking, sea sickness, the feeling of not feeling grounded. Being vulnerable to whatever the weather may bring. So when my dad (who loves all things oceans and had a career spending his days on a boat and diving) invited us on a sailing trip around the south Great Barrier Reef, it was with great hesitation that I gave it go. There was sea sickness, 3 metre waves for 5 hours where I thought I was going to die, 2 metre long tiger sharks, waking up at 3am to big swells, lack of protection from the wind, as we tried hide between the sand caves of. #heronsisland and lady mustgrave 50 miles away from shore. & Near misses of the big oil boats 😂 Yet, there was incredible snorkelling with sharks, rays and turtles, the bluest water I’ve ever seen, untouched islands, where not another person was in sight. The clearest starry night that I EVER seen. Laughter and memory making with family and most of all - an adventure of a lifetime. Here’s a few snaps 📸 #greatbarrierreef #heronisland #heron #sailing #sailingaustralia
