While Berlin may not be the prettiest city in Europe, it’s got bags of character. Some of the best clubs the world, museums to rival other European capitals, steeped in history and of course it’s in Germany so great beer and food. There’s a lot of love about Berlin
A brotherly trip to a proper country. Where public services work, politicians aren’t populists and are held to account, university is free and the economy is booming. Ich bin ein Berliner. 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪
Misha and I have had a lot of amazing experiences. The balloons in Cappadocia are solidly in the top 10. That’s besides the fact that it’s a magical landscape with a history of consistent habitation that goes back at least 3000 years all the way to the Hittites.
Despite the best efforts of the Conservatives to make studying medicine in the UK appear as unattractive as possible, it remains a rewarding, challenging and fulfilling path to follow.
I’ve made an online course to help students prepare for their medicine interviews and have made it freely available to students who get support from @In2MedSchool and other charities.
In2MedSchool was set up by @brianxwang , a friend from university. It tutors students from disadvantaged backgrounds in their medicine application preparations. It’s a fantastic mission and has had a real impact, helping lots of students with top quality tutoring they otherwise would not have had.
There's also a link to apply for a bursary for any student who feels they would benefit from the course but would struggle to afford it.
