How much capital you’d need to invest within each stock to live a cheap lifestyle assuming $30,000 in annual expenses covered from the annual dividends paid to shareholders.
If you live in a place where $30,000 is considered rent ($2,500 / month), feel free to double or triple the amount invested needed to get to your desired $60,000 or $90,000 expense lifestyle.
For example: If you live in New York, $30,000 isn’t going to cut it. You’ll probably need at least $60,000 to spend on annual expenses. So investment needed in Verizon would be $884K instead of $442K. For Coca Cola, if you wanted to spend $60,000 in annual expenses, you’d need $1.8M.
