⁣Picture this - it’s Saturday night. ⠀ ⠀ All dolled up ⠀ ⠀ You NAILED your winged eyeliner ⠀ ⠀ Your outfit game is hella strong ⠀ ⠀ You meet up with the girls for dinner and some drinks ⠀ ⠀ You take some photos, only to HATE how you look in them ⠀ ⠀ I’ve been there before, where I was absolutely shocked at how I looked in pictures ⠀ ⠀ I would think to myself ⠀ ⠀ “why is my tummy sticking out?” ⠀ ⠀ “my arms don’t make it look like I even work out!” ⠀ ⠀ And to make things worse, the next morning I’d wake up bloated from all the food and alcohol… ⠀ ⠀ I’m not saying that you can’t have a social life and get in shape. If anything, maintaining your social life while being on your fitness journey is what will keep you sane ⠀ ⠀ HOWEVER, there are specific ways to make things work ⠀ ⠀ You can’t just eat like a dickhead every weekend, but you CAN still enjoy a night out when making smarter choices ⠀ ⠀ You don’t have to do hours of cardio to make up for anything you eat, but it HELPS to stay active, keep your step count high, eat protein and stay hydrated ⠀ ⠀ But most importantly… ⠀ ⠀ You don’t have to go at it alone.
