Did you know ? ☆☆☆ If we assume or consider that it takes you 10 seconds to read this post then, since you started reading this, you have traveled almost 6,000 km through the Universe. 🌌🌌🌌 We're talking about average speeds.. ☆Regarding the Milky Way speed , scientists believe that it moves at about 600 km/s relative to the reference given by surrounding Galaxies, with Earth moving about 51.84 million kms per day. ( research of Chinese University of Science and Technology and Inaf analyzing data from ALMA and HERSCHEL telescopes). Another point of reference is given by the Cosmic Background Radiation CMB, the Milky Way appears to move at about 552 km/s with respect to the photons of the CMB. ( observations by NASA/ COBE and WMAP). . 🎯Credit: @glamour_physics Mention someone who’d love to see this🤯✨ 🧠Do like & tell us your thoughts in the comment section 👽 ✅FOLLOW @space_a_daily_dose for more amazing content from our Cosmos.🚀🌠🌌 @space_a_daily_dose @space_a_daily_dose @space_a_daily_dose Why you should consider following my page. @spaceadailydose velocity is always relative. I wonder how you/whoever it is arrived at this value by considering a point in the space without knowing for sure whether that point in space is stationary... And if you have figured out that point is infact stationary, then another question that comes to my mind is, with respect to what do you call that point stationary... I don't think there is a correct answer to my question because relativity is incomplete without knowing the boundaries of reality or the real universe
