The power of long exposure photography. Would you believe if I told you it was so dark out that I couldn’t even see the waterfall with my eyes? It’s true...I was unable to enjoy the beautiful view except on the back of the camera😁 I ended up exposing this for 78 seconds at ISO 1250. I chose not to shoot at ISO 100 because that would have been about a 10 minute exposure. I felt that long of an exposure would wash out the details a bit too much...plus I’m on a rock ledge 75’ above the water with limited visibility and a storm with lightening happening to my right. I didn’t want to stay there any longer than necessary😬 Happy Saturday!!! ☀️☀️☀️ . . • Canon EOS R • Canon 24-105mm • ISO 1250 • 73mm (I cropped this image heavily) • f/10 • 78 seconds • Slik lightweight tripod . . . . . . #puremichigan #puremichiganders #upnorth #puremittigan #puremitrenpride #greatlakes #greatlakesstate #thegreatlakesstate #greatlakesproud #midwestliving #michigander #naturalmichigan #michiganoverboard #lakesuperior #picturedrocks #heyihadtosnapthat #raw _usa_fall #raw _waters #photohitchhiker #ig _captured #amazingplaces #amazingphoto #explore _destinations #bestofthegreatlakesstate #fotocatchers #picturedrocksnps #lakesuperiormagazine #waterfallsofinstagram #waterfallsfordays
