I am always trying to learn and absorb information along my journey.
.
I always want to share more of my journey.
.
So here is the topic and question of the week to my trainer (
@bfit2training ):
.
“Mike, I want to focus on nutrition so I think it is time for the Biltz. How are we going to set it up to account for my progress over the last 12 months?”
.
As we have discussed before the idea is to totally clean up cheat foods and stick to a pretty strict plan. Our training has changed slightly but pretty basic muscle maintenance and body fat reduction split.
I want to make sure you are getting enough calories and minimizing cheats with non-nutritious carbohydrates and unhealthy or fats that you individually have struggled with before. Such as, dairy, creamy dressings, etc.
Alcohol during the blitz of course is off-limits or ferry, very, minimal of course. I am sure you will choose off limits because alcohol creates some inhibitions that for you are conducive with the atmosphere of poor nutrition.
.
Lastly, we are upping your calories. You are eating completely clean during the blitz and since you have sped up your metabolism your calories will be higher at a lower rate. That is the benefit of approaching your journey and process the right way.
.
Overall, My goal remains the same: live a healthy lifestyle. I cycle between the three main goals; weight lose, performance and appearance at times.
.
This challenge I wanted to focus on weight loss and I do that through cleaning up my nutrition! Always taking away a small healthy habit I have pushed myself to form and carry that on in my journey!.
